Easy Bath Salt Recipe for Moody F'ers


Bath salts (not the bad kind...the good kind) are one of my favorite 'feel-goods'. No matter how shitty my day has been, if I lower myself in a hot tub filled with healing salts and aromatherapy, I'm a new person when I pop out.

Here's a basic bath salt recipe, where you can play with your aromatherapy depending on your mood!


Healing Bath Salt Recipe

1 cup of Pure Sea Salt

1 cup of Epsom Salt

1/2 cup of Baking Soda

20 Drops of Essential Oil (blend recipes below)

Combine sea salt, Epsom salt and baking soda in a bowl.

Stir in your favorite essential oils.

Store in a glass jar, in a cool, dark place.

Use 1/2 cup per bath.

Essential Oil Mood Blends

Mind Refresher

10 drops of Lemon + 10 drops of Rosemary

Relaxation

10 drops of Bergamot + 10 drops of Lavender

Better Breathing

10 drops of Eucalyptus + 10 drops of Peppermint

Calming

5 drops of Geranium + 5 drops of Rose + 10 drops of Lavender

Happy

5 drops of Orange + 5 drops of Lemon + 5 drops of Cedarwood + 5 drops of Clove
