The Yoga Pose for Everyone
Let's get something straight here.
Yoga is not about tightening your ass, it's about getting your head out of it! Sure, your ass takes on a life of its own after practicing for a while, but that's just an added benefit to the BRAIN SPACE Yoga gives you.
Thankfully, the MOST important Yoga Asana (posture) there is, does not require the flexibility of your cousin Debbie from Jersey. It's called Savasana (shah-VAHS-uh-nuh), which is Sanskrit for 'Corpse Pose' and even though people like to refer to it as their 'nap' to top off their Yoga practice, it is much more than a dessert pose. Savasana also:
Calms the brain and helps relieve stress and mild depression.
Relaxes the body.
Reduces headache, fatigue, and insomnia.
Helps to lower blood pressure.
